A 2,000 point Tau list

I've been working on a 2,000 point Tau list for a few weeks now after my big haul, and I think I've finally settled on something competent for local play. This is the main style of list I've been wanting to build with Tau for a while, though I am using Riptides instead of Crisis Suits for now because they seem to be doing better for me at the moment. I may revisit those units later when I attempt a Farsight bomb themed list, but for now here's what I've been working on...

HQ
170 Commander (Missle Pod, Missile Pod, Stimulant Injector, Iridium Armor, Puretide Engram Neurochip)
50 Ethereal
60 Cadre Fireblade
60 Cadre Fireblade

TROOPS
90 10 Fire Warriors
90 10 Fire Warriors
170 10 Fire Warriors (Devilfish)
170 10 Fire Warriors (Devilfish)

ELITES
190 Riptide (Ion Accelerator, TL Plasma Rifle, Early Warning Override)
190 Riptide (Ion Accelerator, TL Plasma Rifle, Early Warning Override)

FAST ATTACK
66 6 Pathfinders
66 6 Pathfinders
66 6 Pathfinders

HEAVY SUPPORT
282 3 Broadsides (TLHYMP, TLSMS, Early Warning Override, 6 Missile Drones)
282 3 Broadsides (TLHYMP, TLSMS, Early Warning Override, 6 Missile Drones)

2,002 pts, 4 Scoring Units, 88 models, 17 Victory Points

So the Commander joins one of the Broadside units and grants them Tank Hunter or Monster Hunter while being a source of a few ablative wounds for the unit as well (before using Look Out Sir when he's down to one or two). I'll attach the two Cadre Fireblades to two of the 10-man non-mounted Fire Warrior units, and attach the Etheral to one of them as well. The result is a ridiculous firebase with Leadership 10 and it has proven to be able to shoot Deathwing Knights and even an entire Ravenwing squadron off the table (sorry Noah lol). The Broadsides put out an amazing amount of firepower with the missile-fist configuration and the Riptides can help wipe terminators and other elite infantry off the table (Nob Bikers, T-Wolf cav, etc). There's not much anti-flyer stuff in here, but with the amount of glances I should be able to get with the Broadsides (and maybe even penetrating hits with the Tank Hunter special rule thanks to the Commander's Puretide Engram Neurochip), I shouldn't have too much of an issue. Let's just pray that I don't face three Heldrakes regularly because otherwise I will have to test out the TL Railgun Broadsides with Velocity Trackers. :P

I'm proud of how this list has performed so far and it's a lot of fun to play! Thanks for reading and if you've got the models, give it a try!
